A lot of Christians talk about “getting saved,” but what does that actually mean? Is it just going to heaven in the “sweet bye and bye” or something more? Is it about our mansion just over the hilltop? Is it a two minute prayer? I don't know about others, but we believe it is much more than that!
Pastor Steve Gray and his leadership team at World Revival Church in Kansas City demonstrate the Greek word for salvation, “sozo,” which also means healing, deliverance and so much more. They declare that believers must not limit God because of a narrow definition of how He operates. Salvation is a complete package for the here and now.

When the writers of the Bible talked about salvation they were talking about “now.” When Jesus told Zacchaeus that salvation had come to his house He wasn’t talking about the pearly gates. Jesus meant that deliverance and healing had now come and everything in his life was going to change.
