Onsite Consultations

Through this valuable service we visit your site to provide an objective analysis of your overall situation.

While there, the trained consultant will engage parishioners and the congregational leaders. Building on previous telephone interviews and research, the consultant will use a unique diagnostic system to analyze your ministry’s health and isolate sources of conflict. This diagnostic system focuses on seven crucial dimensions:

Upon completion of the onsite research and the diagnostic report, an initial findings report will be given to the church’s leadership.

This service provides you with a thorough evaluation and problem analysis. However, we only present the facts as an objective third-party representative. If the leadership of your congregation would also like to receive further recommendations and assistance in finding solutions, a more thorough onsite consulting service is available.

Details of Onsite Consultation

To take advantage of our onsite consultation service, you, or another qualified ministry representative, should fill out a “Consultation Form.” Once accepted, we will make a call to the senior leader or other designated party to set up the consultation schedule. Once we have completed the initial research, we will make general inquiry phone calls to your office and staff. We will then follow up with other internet and demographic research.

The on-site consultation typically takes place Saturday through Monday. The consultant arrives Saturday evening. Rising early Sunday morning, he visits the grounds, examining your facilities as they first open up. Your worship service is then carefully examined; with further assessments being made for approximately one hour after the service.

The consultant goes to lunch with senior pastor, (and any other staff members) making additional inquiries. The diagnostic system is worked on during the remaining part of the afternoon. If there is not a Sunday evening service, the consultant meets with staff around 7:00 P.M. to make some final inquiries. The “Initial Findings” report is completed late Sunday evening.

The consultant begins briefing the Senior Pastor at 9:00 A.M. on Monday morning. If desired, other staff can be included at 10:00 A.M. A question and answer session can be instituted at 11:00 A.M. Consultation is over at noon. One “Initial Findings” Report will be burned on to Compact Disc in a PDF Format and handed to the appropriate church leadership.

A more thorough final consultation report with all relevant findings will be developed offsite and be sent out in the mail within ten working days. Included in this package is a print-off with the initial findings report and any other relevant documents. After examining this report, the senior pastor and/or other governing authorities can schedule a one hour conference call to make further inquiries.
