Steve Gray - President and Founder
Often described as a pastor of pastors, Steve Gray's leadership has been recognized around the world. He was first catapulted to national prominence in early 1996 as a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit erupted in his congregation in Smithton, Missouri.
As Gray’s ministry was featured in Newsweek, Charisma, the 700 Club, Daystar and the Trinity Broadcast Network, hundreds of ministry leaders sought his counsel. To maximize this effort, Gray established World Revival Network of Ministries. Since 1999 this organization has provided encouragement and support; impacting the lives of leaders around the world.
With over 20 years of ministry experience, Gray offers practical solutions that bring real change to churches and leaders. He is determined to meet the challenges facing the American church head on with his assertion that “Everyone deserves to experience the presence of God.”

J.D. King - International Director
While pursuing a bible college degree, J.D. King was impacted by the ministry of Steve Gray at the revival in Smithton, Missouri. With a transformed heart and undying passion for the local church, King was asked to serve as international director of World Revival Network of Ministries in 1999. As a speaker, church consultant and author, he has brought encouragement and assistance to a multitude of congregations.
On the unassuming evening of March 24, 1996, the Spirit of God swept into Smithton Community Church, a humble congregation nestled deep in the cornfields of Central Missouri. One member wrote, "I can’t explain what happened but something very supernatural took place. God walked in and we felt His presence. The entire church ran to the altar and started leaping, dancing and praising God with all that was within us." In just a matter of moments, Pastor Steve Gray and his congregation found themselves thrust into an internationally recognized revival movement.
In the years that followed, this historic move of God began to impact innumerable people. Visitors from fifty states and over seventy nations journeyed to “the middle of nowhere” to experience the revival. The explosive meetings captured the attention of Newsweek, Time, San Francisco Chronicle, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and numerous Christian publications.
In the midst of this expanding revival, thousands of pastors, leaders and ministry-minded people found their lives and ministries transformed. Many experienced the flames of revival igniting within their congregations and places of fellowship.
From the very beginning, it was apparent that there was a need for an organized association of progressive Spirit-led ministries. Ultimately the World Revival Network of Ministries was formed to meet this need.
Transitioning to Kansas City in 2000, World Revival Network is uniquely positioned to impact the nations. From cornfields to the urban skyline, this organization is mobilizing for global revival.

Statement of Faith
The Bible, Old and New Testament, is verbally inspired by God. It is the revelation of God to humanity, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (Exo. 34:27; Deut. 8:3, 27:3, 28:58-59; 2 Sam. 22:31; Job 23:12; Psalm 12:6, 119:105; John 6:63; Acts 12:24; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; Heb. 4:12)
The eternal Godhead has been revealed as one God existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26; Mat. 28:19; John 1:1-3; Hebrews 1:1-3)
Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He died on the cross, was buried and on the third day was bodily resurrected. Ascending to the right hand of His Father, He has been given a name above every name. (Isa. 7:14, 9:7; Luke 1:26-38, 2:1-20, 24:1-53; Rom. 4:25; 1 Cor. 15:1-57)
The root of human dilemma is rebellion against God. Jesus bore the penalty of our violation of God’s law. In doing so He fulfilled the Prophets' prediction of a sin-bearing Messiah. By entering into covenant with God through Jesus, both Jew and Gentile experience the gift of everlasting life. Salvation comes by grace through repentance and faith in the perfect work of the cross. (Rom. 5:12, 18; Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:12, 22; Rom. 5:22)
The Church is the ingathering of the righteous. It is a covenant community that not only fellowships, but an organism through which God is worshipped, divine initiatives are channeled and various works of ministry facilitated. (1 Cor. 12:13; Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Eph. 4:11-16; 1 Cor 12:28; 1 Cor. 14:12)
The present ministry of the Holy Spirit includes the indwelling, inner workings and baptism of His person in the believer. Spirit-filled living is a life of separation from sin and the perfecting of holiness as an expression of biblical faith. There are a multiplicity of spiritual gifts and supernatural signs that follow believers. Some gifts demonstrated include: words of knowledge, faith, gifts of healings, workings of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, various kinds of tongues and their interpretation. (2 Cor. 7:1; Acts 4:30; Rom. 12:1-2; Rom. 8:11; Heb. 2:3-4; Acts 2:1-4; 1 Cor. 12-14).
The Kingdom of God has come in the ministry of Jesus. It continues to come in the ministry of the Holy Spirit through the Church and will be consummated at the glorious day of resurrection with the appearing of Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords.
